Who are we?

Grunthal Caring Hands Food Bank helps individuals in Grunthal and surrounding areas, including St. Pierre, St. Malo, Kleefeld, and Vita, just to name a few. See picture below!

While we do not eliminate the need to purchase food at the grocery store, we do try to lend a caring hand.

February 1, 2012 was our first distribution day. We started serving 20 families every two weeks, and are now serving anywhere from 45-60 families on a bi-weekly basis. We are a non-profit organization and rely on donations from the communities we serve.

Where are we?

We are located behind the Elim Church at 30 Main St. in Grunthal.

Our food bank days are every other Wednesday from 2:00-5:00 p.m..

Clients are required to register the first time they come in to see us. We ask that they bring their Manitoba Health card with them. We will ask them a few questions that will help us serve them better. More information will be requested for the next time they come in. Please see here for more details.
